Android avatar created thanks to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Named “Yamato” after the Nara area in Kansai, where Japan’s history started, and which refers to the country as a whole as well as embodying the spirit that has permeated this country since its birth, the soul of Japan resides within. There are three types: N1H, N2H, and N1L.

Functional Features
(1) Equipped with knee twisting and flexion-extension mechanisms (N2H type only)

The N2H type features mechanisms for knee rotation and flexion, with additional degrees of freedom in the hips, knees, and ankles. These enable natural turning motions and enhance the expressive capability of the entire body.

(2) Equipped with eyeball cameras in both eyes

Cameras embedded in both eyes allow for natural communication that gives the impression of direct eye contact.

(3) Neutral head design suitable for use as an avatar android

Its neutral head design free from specific attributes allows it to serve as an avatar for a wide variety of remote operators. Makeup and wigs can be added to change its visual appearance.

(4) Androgynous, graceful proportions

The design avoids specific physical attributes, inviting the imagination of each viewer and allowing for a wide range of interpretations.

(5) Design with various axes for facial expression

The avatar’s face design allows human-like nuanced emotional expression. Fine adjustments can be made to the eyebrows, mouth, and eyes, enabling the avatar to convey complex feelings and intentions with greater realism.
