Androids and Robots

Yoshinoroid

This android’s body is covered with collections of different circles, representing Japan’s ancient traditional method of calculation. It is a vision of harmony between technology and nature, inspired by the cherry trees that bloom on Mount Yoshino in Nara Prefecture. Its outer shell, composed of cross-sectioned wood elements, expresses a future-oriented interpretation of traditional Japanese design. There are two versions: the Alter type and the Yamatoroid base type.
