[Q&A with Partner Companies #8] The EXPO Begins! A message from the Partner Companies
A large number of companies are taking part in the signature pavilion, Future of Life, each of which endorses the themes of the pavilion and the approaches of Producer ISHIGURO Hiroshi. In this series of articles, we intend to showcase what ideas, visions, and initiatives these companies have come up with in response to the themes of the pavilion and of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan as a whole.
In part eight of this series, we asked each partner company to respond to the following topic: “The EXPO Begins! A message from the Partner Companies.”
HASEKO Corporation
Three years have passed since we decided to support Producer ISHIGURO. After overcoming various challenges, the Future of Life pavilion has finally been completed, showcasing the crystallized ideas of the co-creation members and the production team. The EXPO will be held in Osaka for the first time in 55 years. We hope that this splendid event will connect people from around the world, foster the generation of new ideas, and promote the exchange of technologies.

After more than three years, it is finally time to unveil our pavilion. We would like as many people as possible to experience the amplification of lives, and to feel excited at what the future holds. We look forward to seeing people from all over the world attend this event in person.

Sysmex’s future product ideas were shaped by a diverse team of about 50 members from different departments, nationalities, and generations, inspired by Prof. ISHIGURO and our co-creation partners. We explored what “happiness that makes us want to live” means in a future where technology has advanced. The world we envisioned blends technology with human essence, and we very much look forward to showing our vision to pavilion visitors.

The EXPO is almost upon us. The theme of this pavilion, “the Future of Life,” hints at endless possibilities. Going forward, our university will continue to educate the younger generations—who are so full of possibilities—and so nurture the human resources that represent the future of Japan and of the world. We hope that visitors will experience the future when they interact with our Soseki Android, which is based on NATSUME Soseki, the literary giant from the late-19th and early-20th centuries.
